Highway Department Dates to Remember:
Green Waste - May 4th, June 1st, July 6th, August 3rd, September 1st, October 5th, and November 2nd (Leaf Collection on Nov. 2nd as well)
Trash Dates - May 2nd (Firehouse - Trenton Rd. - 8 am - 2 pm) and October 3rd (Highway Garage - 8 am - 2 pm)

ATV and E-Bike Restrictions:
As a continued reminder, motorized or electric vehicles (4-wheelers and dirt bikes) are NOT allowed on Town roads, property, or trails. As you are well aware, there are local and state laws prohibiting this activity. If you are caught on the roads, property, or trails with a motorized vehicle, the Town will pursue all legal remedies.
NYS Vehicle & Traffice Law, Section 2403:
No person shall operate an ATV on a highway, public property, or private property without permission of the landowner. An ATV is defined as any self-propelled vehicle with two or more wheels to be used primarily for off-highway or in off-road competitions.
NYS Vehicle & Traffic Law Section 114-e, 1242, 1282, and 1284
ATV's include e-bikes with throttles, or without peddles, or is capable of speeds more than 20 mph.
